Life so Far
This semester has been a hectic one! Apart from having to come to university from 2 P.M. till 5 P.M., I'm having trouble regarding my own daughter. Usually I would leave her at my parents house but now since my mom is away I'm leaving her with my husband's father. My daughter isn't used to him so leaving the house is an everyday struggle now. Besides my daughter, the courses I am taking so far seem to be easy now since most of the material we are taking I am familiar with from my previous years. The plus side of this year is that I get to share it with people who have become close friends and companions like Omar, Nada, Fatima and so many others. I am looking forward to the upcoming months and what they have in store for me.

I'm in agreement with most points, particularly the ease of the courses so far in the semester but that should be a given considering they're just introductory.
ReplyDeleteI'm sad to hear about your daughter. She'll be old enough for pre-school though and will end up making many new friends, so her separation-anxiety won't be as strong.

ReplyDeleteI'm sorry about your daughter, but I think this is temporary, when she adapts with your husbands father, it will be easier. Don't you have in your school a babysitter? Because most of the schools today have one.
I'm glad to have you as my best friend this year Rima! Yes everything in life needs to sacrifice for it. I appreciate you and your way in facing such struggles. It is just a year and it will pass, and you'll be glad when you hear your name at the graduates stadium.
