Drive:

Google Docs:

Google Docs resembles Microsoft word but it is directly saved on our drive. It in my opinion is a much safer way to save our data since it is directly saved on our emails and is easily accessed. It is also not affected by any damage that may occur to our electronic devices because it is the drive and not on an external device. Google drive offers many things that are similar to word like a variety of fonts, sizes, colors. You can also insert photos, chart or drawing. It is not as limitless as word like for example you can't work on a research project on the google docs itself because it does not offer in-text citations or a built in reference table like word does. But I guess we can still copy paste the information from word to google docs after we're done and problem solved!

Google Slides:

It really resembled the normal powerpoint we use. It was easy to use and very enjoyable.

Google Forms:

Google Forms is a quick and efficient way to create questionnaires. Before we were forced to come up with it manually and it took a lot of time, from choosing the right font, to the size, to the numbering, to listing the options and so on. But now with Google Forms it's all easy now, it practically does things for you. All we need to do is choose the background and start! It already has a few templates ready like worksheets, assessing and others. All you need to do is fill it in with your information. If what you're looking for isn't there you can just create one yourself.

Reference in word:

This was extremely helpful especially during these times when most of our projects are research papers that require lots of citations. It's a time saver and helps keep things organized in terms of references. It also came in handy with my husband's research paper. I was able to teach him how to do it and he also found it as a life savor!

Publisher:

This is very useful for teachers to use in case they want to create posters, business cards or any type of print outs to use.

Poster:

Creating a poster for this course was mostly useful for me as a future teacher where I can use this for my students at the end of the each lesson; where they can sum up what they learned or understood. This is a great way for students to reorganize their information and better understand what they just took.

Kahoot:

Kahoot was the best thing we did in class during this course. I loved it so much. It was a great addition to the skills i can add to my repertoire of teaching strategies. I can use this application to assess my students' understanding at the end of each lesson. It's a fun, effective and competitive way to engage students during class for an educational purpose.

Rubric:

They are a good way for both the teacher and student to assess things regarding the student's understanding and performance during class sessions. These can be introduced to students at the end of each lesson. Teachers can use them to assess or grade students' performance during oral presentations or group work.

Padlets:

These virtual bulletin boards are a great way to get students engaged in group work. It's a greta way for students to assess themselves after lessons. It's also a great way to introduce new lessons to build on students background knowledge. Students' will have fun and enjoy doing these bulletin boards together or even alone.

Zoom:

Zoom was somewhat of a good way to gather a group of students for an online session. As a future teacher I felt I can use this at times when students need extra instruction regarding concepts or ideas they didn't understand during class. As a personal experience I don't think it'll work with a big number of students all together because of the multiple disturbances we might face from the huge number of participants. I feel like it would be a good idea for personal sessions for students who really need the extra time with the teacher.

Pollev:

Teachers can also use this to assess students understanding of the lesson or even to assess students' prior knowledge regarding a new lesson that a teacher will be introducing. Students' will enjoy this so much because they'll enjoy the sense of competition and fun in this activity.

Pechakucha:

I really enjoyed using Pechakucha in class while working on our project. I really loved the fact that we were able to chat with each other using the chat box available that allowed us to communicate with each other without having to move from our seats. I can incorporate this in my future classes and have my students create slide shows in class without moving from their seats, all they need to do is chat with each other using the chat box. It's as easy as that! I can also use this as a rap up to my lesson when I want to summarize my lesson and check my students understanding.

Webinars:

Webinars are a good way to attend conferences around the word at the click of a button. It's amazing how we can now have access to everything in the word at the comfort of our home. It a very important tool teachers can use if they don't have the luxury to travel and attend conferences, they now have the chance to do it from their homes and for free.

ActivInspire:

For all those schools using smart-boards this is an amazing application teachers can now benefit from to create interacting lessons on. Students will immediately fall in love with it and enjoy every second of it. There are loads of hidden tricks teachers can use to make their lessons even more fun. This is living proof of the mix between fun and learning.

Web-quest:

A WebQuest is an inquiry-oriented lesson format in which most or all the information that learners work with comes from the web. These can be created using various programs, including a simple word processing document that includes links to websites
VCT:

Virtual classroom tours was a complete mystery to me when I first encountered the concept. A VCT is a simple Powerpoint Presentation template. It’s a way of not just presenting your work, but packaging together all the resources and information you would need as a teacher to recreate that activity in classroom.

Blogs:

A blog is a regularly updated website or web page, typically one run by an individual or small group, that is written in an informal or conversational style. It is constantly updated by adding new material to or regularly working on it. It can be used for both personal reasons where you can share personal information about yourself or it can be used for educational purposes where it has more of a formal structure.
Bitly:

Bitly is really useful when we have really long URLs and sometimes either don't fit in the space required or are just too disturbing to look at, as well as making it easier to memorize. So, who doesn't like making large things smaller?

Quizlet:

It is like studying with the use of flashcards. Very enjoyable for both the teacher and the students.

Online Mind Mapping:

It's helpful for brainstorming with students and sharing our ideas together. It can also be helpful for writing where students can gather their thoughts and ideas in an organized way.
